The Nuggets are currently tied at 1-1 with the Utah Jazz in the first round series of the NBA playoffs. Both of the first two games were played in Denver, and the Nuggets didn’t take full advantage of it. They looked good the first game, but seemed to struggle in the second. The Jazz currently have a lot of injuries to key players, and they’re still able to hang in. I believe that the Nuggets need to step up their game tonight and win by a fairly large margin so that they make a statement that they are one of the top teams in the NBA, and no one should want to mess with them.
On a side note, I hope that the officiating is better because the last game was terrible on both sides. It’s the playoffs, and the referees need to let the players play. Don’t call those little nit picky fouls, it just delays the game and frustrates everyone.
GO NUGGETS! They finally looked like a decent team last night; I just hope they can keep it up in Utah to take it to a game 7 here in Denver.

And you are so right. The refs have been terrible. I know Williams is good but really? All those calls weren’t necessary.

I have to say i’m fairly disappointed in the nuggets’ showing so far in this series. Melo can’t be the only one playing. at least we won last night to barely stay alive, but hopefully we can pull off two more.

You make a very interesting point on how the Jazz have several key players hurt, but yet throughout the series have still seemed to dominate the Nuggs. Game 1 was great, the following 3 however not so much. Im still kinda stunned that the Jazz were able to take 3 straight against Denver, but not suprised based on how theyve been playing. Melo can’t do it himself everynight. They won last night in Denver, but there still down 3-2 in the series. I do believe they can still take the series, but this series has shown you how much the absence of a head coach can really hurt a team. Good luck Nuggs because now that the Avs are out of the NHL playoffs you are all we got.
